Certification Testing

On Wednesday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. ICES members will be testing for the Certified Sugar Artist or Certified Master Sugar Artist title. This live adjudicated test will be open to the public with an admission ticket which may be purchased at the door. You may enter and leave at any time during the day once you have paid for entrance. Please note that there is no interaction between the applicants or adjudicators and the public, nor are any photographs allowed. Please respect the gravity of this event by remaining quiet when you are in the testing room. This is a fascinating opportunity to watch some of the best sugar artists in action and also to show your support for those trying out for this prestigious honor.

Vendors' Preview Night

Come join us Thursday evening, before the Vendor Hall opens, for a sneak peak at the great new things the vendors have to offer. Come see the latest trends. It’s great fun and an informal way to check out what’s hot in the sugar arts world.

First Timers’ Meeting

If this is your first ICES Convention, you should check out the First Timers Meeting which will be offered Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. Great advice is dispensed on how to get the most from your convention experience in a fun and friendly forum. Meet other first timers as well as those who are experienced conventioneers. It’s a great way to start off your convention experience.

New Representatives’ Meeting

Are you a newly elected representative for your area, chapter, providence, region, or country? Like to know the best way to make the most out of your new position, or just need to have some questions answered? Please join us and other representatives in an informal Q&A session. Meet reps from other areas to share ideas and learn great ways to make your job easier. Learn where to find answers to your questions and what resources are available to you as a rep. Internationals’ Meeting and Social

Come and join other ICES members from around the globe! This informal get together is your chance to meet your International Liaison and share your global experiences to connect with one another. Please check the main schedule of events for the time and place.

ICES General Membership Meeting & Breakfast

Included with your convention registration is a ticket for the General Membership Meeting and Breakfast. Come join other members for breakfast and exercise your right to bring issues to the ICES Board and also cast your vote for your chosen Board Member candidates. This is an important, not to be missed part of convention and one that should be attended by each ICES member.

Sunday Night of Sharing

Probably the favorite event of the Convention comes to those who wait. Sunday evening is the Sunday Night of Sharing. It is an informal event held in one of the hotel conference rooms for anyone wishing to attend. This evening everyone is invited to pull up a chair and take part in many impromptu demonstrations. Whether you have something to share or just wish to sit and watch others work their magic, everyone is invited to show their stuff. This is a great way to meet some of the demonstrators up close, or to hone your demonstrating skills and talents. Each table offers something new, so come on down, get comfortable and learn something new.
